The MCD Diploma in Theology (DipTheol) introduces students to the basics of the Scriptures and the Christian faith, while giving opportunity for some elective study.
The Diploma in Theology is open to persons who have completed Year 12, International Baccalaureate or overseas equivalent. Probationary entry is available to mature-age (21 years or over) students without a Year 12 qualification.
The Diploma in Theology must be completed in not less than one and not more than three years.
Candidates normally attend classes on-campus. The Diploma is also available online via the Theology Online program. On-campus students may study some units online.
To be awarded the DipTheol, a total of 120 credit points (8 standard units) must be completed, including at least 30 points in each of the fields of Biblical Studies and Christian Thought and History.
