The Graduate Certificate in Theology allows students with a degree in a discipline other than theology to gain a basic introduction to theological study.
A person may apply to enrol as a candidate in the Graduate Certificate in Theology if he or she has an undergraduate degree from an Australian University or equivalent.
The Graduate Certificate can articulate to the Graduate Diploma in Theology.
The Graduate Certificate must be completed in not less than six months and not more than two years.
Students may complete the award through face-to-face classes on campus, or wholly online through TheologyOnline@MCD. Students may complete the award by a mix of face-to-face and online units. The award may be taken part-time or full-time.
The Graduate Certificate requires completion of 45 points (3 standard units) of Foundational study. Students must take units from three disciplines across at least two Fields.
