Education:
·          Bachelor of Science majoring in Zoology and Physiology (University of Otago).

·          Master of Arts (Pastoral Counselling) from Loyola University, Chicago. My internship during the MAPC was in child and family therapy. 
·          Doctor of Education in Counselling and Human Services from La Trobe University. My dissertation was on the personal spirituality of men at mid-life.
Current positions:
·        I am the Rector of Jesuit Theological College. 
·        I am the Delegate for Jesuit Formation in the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus.
·        Convenor of the Refugee Tertiary Education Committee which works to provide online tertiary education for refugees on the Thai-Burma border.
·        I am the Dean of the Institute for Christian Spirituality and Pastoral Formation of the Melbourne College of Divinity where I teach graduate and postgraduate courses in spiritual direction. Our web site is:
 
 
Hobbies:
Painting portraits, playing the guitar, listening to the Beatles and barracking for the All Blacks.
