8. Following a visit to Melbourne by the Taize Brothers in September 2011 quarterly prayer gatherings have been held in the Melbourne CBD. These gatherings have been organised by young people from across the denominations. The next gathering is at 7pm on Saturday the 4th of August. The venue is St Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Flinders Street.
These gatherings are especially for 18-35s, if you are outside this age group, please come along and bring some young people along with you! For information go to

10. The upcoming Galatians & Christian Theology Conference, to be held at the University of St Andrews, Scotland 10-13 July, is coming up fast. This event is the fourth in a series of Scripture and Christian Theology conferences to be held at the world famous university. Our keynote speakers are N.T.Wright, Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins, University of St Andrews (St Mary’s College), Richard Hays, George Washington Ivey Professor of New Testament at Duke Divinity School, Durham, North Carolina and Oliver O’Donovan, Professor of Christian Ethics and Practical Theology at the University of Edinburgh (New College). Main papers will be given by notable scholars from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, the Universities of Durham, England, St Andrews, Bochum, Oxford, Princeton, and the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. We have an additional 60 short papers that will be presented in afternoon breakout sessions.
